I don’t talk much about the behind-the-scenes “business” of my writing life. Mostly because I don’t always have much to share, but also because we (writers in the query trenches or with manuscripts out on sub) are advised not to talk publicly about so much.
And it’s private.
And I don’t like to talk about things that aren’t resolved.
But I have some news this week. Even though it goes against my instincts to share, I started Mourning Pages to push myself. I’ve always wanted more transparent publishing conversations. So here I am, trying to remember Dory’s advice in Finding Nemo: “Just keep swimming.”
