Late to the party, but totally with you on DNF & escaping. Right now, Once and Future Witches is giving me life!

I read Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito last week and it was an unhinged delight.

Listen for the Lie is the PERFECT example of an "escape room" book! I need all the escape from reality I can get right now. Moving Colored Television up higher on my TBR list :)

I am in exactly the same mood, Penny! I have stacks of books and very little is gripping me right now. Listen for the Lie and Colored Television are in that pile, though, so I’m glad to see that you liked them both.

Feeling SO similar right now and want to be absorbed in book worlds instead of reality! I recently read and loved Sea Wife by Amity Gaige and right now I'm almost finished devouring Famous Last Words by Gillian McCallister. Thank goodness for books!

I’ve DNFed so many books lately! It’s definitely been difficult to slip into anything this month.
