While many don't think it is about grief, I found "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" to be allllll about grief. Also "Grief is Love" (memoir) by Marisa Renee Lee. "The Taste of Ginger" by Mansi Shah. "Golden Girl" by Elin Hilderbrand. I feel like most novels I have read lately have elements of grief within them.

Penny, I'm taking a writing class right now and working on a memoir about grief and motherhood. Your latest update landed in my inbox at just the right time! <3

My latest read is "The Measure" by Nikki Erlick, which I think would fit beautifully with your syllabus.

I can’t vouch for where the book is going, since I’m only 22% through it, but “Under the Whispering Door” by TJ Klune matches this theme exceptionally well.

I have a few other friends who love his writing, but this might be the push for me to read his work, too. Thanks, Jay!

For novels dealing with grief, I must suggest Diane Zinna's THE ALL-NIGHT SUN.
