The first time I read Gone Girl, thought it was meh. Then I listened to what others had to say about it. Under this broader perspective, reread it and enjoyed it immensely. I understood the two characters better.
I know it isn't a book for everyone (what is, right?). For the genre, I think it does such a good job of developing these complex characters and a really complex marriage. Thanks for sharing, Geoff!
